Terms of Service
Last updated July 31, 2026. By using plinthgallery.online, you agree to the terms below.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of PLINTH, the games-criticism gallery published at plinthgallery.online. By browsing the site, reading an exhibit, or submitting either of our forms, you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
2. All games and studios are fictional
This is important: every game, studio, score, publish date and quotation on PLINTH is a deliberate fiction created for this gallery. Aurora Standard, Vesper Drive, Foundry of Glass, The Quiet Coast, Iron Cadence, Halcyon Ascent and their studios — Northlight Atelier, Midnight Cartel, Pane Studios, Tidewater Works, Anvil Loop and Skyward Forge — do not exist. No real game, company or person is described, endorsed or criticised anywhere on this site. Any resemblance to a real product or organisation is coincidental.
3. Editorial independence
PLINTH's reviews and Plinth Scores are presented as independent editorial work within this fictional gallery. They are opinions in the form of criticism, offered for reading enjoyment, and should not be relied upon as statements of fact about any real product.
4. Intellectual property
The written criticism, design system, layout and original imagery presented on PLINTH are the property of the gallery and are provided for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You may share links to our pages freely. You may not republish, resell or systematically copy our content without permission.
5. Acceptable use
When you use our forms, you agree to provide accurate information and not to submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive or malicious content, nor to attempt to disrupt, probe or overload the site. We may decline to act on, and may remove, any submission that violates these terms.
6. Forms, submissions and data
Our newsletter and contact forms write your input to secure local flat-files on our own server, with no database and no third-party distribution. Full details are in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. By submitting a form you consent to that handling.
7. Availability
We aim to keep PLINTH available and accurate, but we provide the site “as is” and make no guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site without notice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PLINTH is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its fictional content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Third-party links
Where the site links outward, we are not responsible for the content or practices of external sites. Following such links is at your own discretion.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the date above marks the latest revision, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Questions are welcome at [email protected].

One letter a week from the gallery floor. New exhibits before they open to the public, the full Plinth Score before it posts, and the studio interviews we could not fit on the wall.
